The Delirium Ride is the musical project of Sarah Rubin, a holistic health practitioner with an altogether confusing life story. In one aspect The Delirium Ride creates its signature sound by combining swirls of psychedelic screams with the pure folksy sounds reminiscent of the 60's. On the other side are the deep groans and growls of a more tempermental, dysphoric alternative rock. Since its induction in 2006, The Delirium Ride has had the effect of either captivating or otherwise confusing, and occasionally infuriating its audiences, as all art is known to do.
Sarah envisions her project as a tree, with branches representing each sonic turn. "My roots are my singing voice," she says.
*The Delirium Ride has been featured on KDVC internet radio, the first internet radio station of its kind, started by a junior college in 2006:

Please take a second (only two clicks) to vote for Super Adventure Club in the Deli's Band of the Month contest. Polls close tonight (Friday) at 10pm, so hurry!
I'll talk to the band about it, and if they are down we can easily put together a soft set. Nate and I actually had a jazz set a couple years ago. We played once at Starbucks and that was it hahaha.
Jeese. I remember you having a good voice Sara, but wow! So unique! I love your mix between todays music and a kind of 60's sound. It's really something special.
