| About The Dead Art of Dance |
Every 1337 years, a world dies so that a great band may live... and for this generation, that band is The Dead Art of Dance.
Greater than gods, and larger than life, the members of Dead Art seemingly leap out the of pages of an Eisner award-winning comic book, doing battle with super-villains, ninjas, and the Dutch.
Like any epic tale of triumph, their journey began with a union of kindred spirits. Band members Kayoum Muhammad (Francine... And Hey Ruby Slippers) and Brandon Davis (Vanna, ex-Therefore I Am) decided to get together and write a few songs just for shits and giggles. After laying down the instrumental tracks to what would soon be their debut tune, Brandon asked Aleksander Kmiec (Autobots of Cybertron, ex-Therefore I Am) to write and record vocals. After a productive and endlessly gay and merry studio session, "Clash of the Titans" was born.
Between captivating hooks, ridiculous lyrics, and needless over-production, Dead Art has ripped out the collectively feeble, delicate, prepubescent heart of adoring scene fans everywhere . . . figuratively and literally. Rarely does a band accomplish such a feet while never taking themselves or their music seriously to any degree.
