The Committee is the culmination of prominent individual musicians assembling to participate in the original creative arm of the neo-soul revolution. As the preeminent Soul & Blues band of the Central Coast of California, the Committee has been turning clubs inside out for nearly a decade. Their driving catalog of first-rate songs of love, heartbreak and booze has made them a favorite amongst concert and dance club goers alike.
Although lead guitarist Jason Bond and his lineup of first class musicians are well versed in many genres and have played in a number of situations, from the Symphony of the Redwoods to the Montreaux Jazz Festival, their union brings them back to the roots of their musical passion. With all the attention they have gained the Committee has become popular as guests on nationally syndicated radio shows and they have shared the stage with world-class acts such as Leon Russell, Tommy Castro, Roy Rodgers, John Lee Hooker Jr. and the Mothertruckers.
