it kind of depends on who you ask... 5 people, that's 5 different opinions on what's good and what's not. to be a little more precisely, it varies from fast old-school stuff like 7 SECONDS, CIRCLE JERKS and old BAD RELIGION, to modern hardcore like SNAPCASE, MODERN LIFE IS WAR or HOPE CONSPIRACY to spherical sounds like PELICAN, ENVY or RED SPARROWES. Quite funny that many people say our music sounds like pure New School...well, we don..t think so :)!

O'Death klingen wie ein Bastard aus Gospel, Violent Femmes und Whiskey und dazu intensiv wie The Paper Chase. Zusätzlich zu Düsterheit und Wildheit besitzt die Band auch ein geschicktes Händchen für die richtige Portion Pop-appeal im richtigen Moment, was City Slang (Get Well Soon, The Jai-Alai Savant, The Notwist, Arcade Fire) überzeugen konnte, ihre Platten in Europa herauszubringen. Kämen sie nicht aus der Brutstätte guter Musik, Brooklyn, würde man die Herkunft der Band eher in irgendwelchen Sumpfgebieten im Süden der USA inmitten von Voodoo-Kulten und Kneipenschlägerei vermuten

Bellafea bedeutet übersetzt ..schön/hässlich.. - und das passt wie die Faust aufs Auge, als da wären wahnsinniger 90er Post-Rock und Noise in Verbindung mit Heather Mc Entires sanft schwebende Stimme, deren unglaubliche Bühnenpräsenz, wie man sie selten erlebt, das Übrige tut. Für Freunde von Des Ark, Fin Fang Foom, Sleater Kinney.
The Black Heart Rebellion aus Brügge sind eine Nummer für sich. Verwurzelt in der belgischen Hardcore-Szene nennt die Band mittlerweile einen weit verzweigten Klangkosmos ihr eigen. Beeinflusst von Instrumentalbands wie Red Sparowes, der dunklen Atmosphäre von Cult Of Luna und Isis sowie der schreienden Intensität von Amanda Woodward, kreieren die fünf Jungs eine geniale Mischung aus Post-Rock und Screamo. Eine Mischung von instrumentalen Soundscapes und mächtigen Soundwällen mit viel Energie und Emotionalität erwartet uns hier. Die fünf Belgier präsentieren ihr neues und erstes Studioalbum, das im September erscheint.
Wishes On A Plane sind 4 Münchner/innen die auch gerne instrumental zu Werke gehen. Allerdings verzichten sie oft auf brutal verzerrte Gitarrenwände und setzen dafür dann auf genretypisch etwas ungewohnten Gesang. Statt kehligem Geschrei erwarten einen Melodien, die stark an Mineral, Christie Front Drive und frühe Get Up Kids erinnern.
Mila ist ein junges Trio aus Schweinfurt, das bisher noch nicht sehr häufig in Erscheinung getreten ist. Konzerte mit Raein und Death of Anna Karina sollten das bald ändern…
