The Charm Offensive consist of three old school buddy's, Alex, Michael and Leo who, upon realising they all played different instruments that made up the constituant parts decided to form a band. With Mike "Muffed" on guitar, Alex "Driven" on Bass and Leo beating the Skins they regularly rehearse their own brand of sex-grunge.
Now on the site are three 'VERY ROUGH' rehearsal recordings of three self-penned songs by the trio. With the arrival of Singer Josh Hyland these may change. The songs are as follows:
'Confession' -
Charm Offensive's own 'Summer' song. The most polished of the three, yet you wouldn't know it from the recording...
'Got To Be Sexy' -
Alex's attempt at a commercial Pop Bass/Beat combo. Mike goes 'Delay-tastic' to give it a slightly un-nerving Bloc Party-esque.
'Beneath The Willow Tree' -
A horror story in music put to Leo doing a poor immitation of Dave Grohl in Queens of the Stone Age. 'Nuff said.
As stated these are early rehearsals so don't judge us too harshly. They are here to give you a rough impression of the sound the lads are going for. Enjoy!
