Formed in 2004 in Bandung, the Changcuters was an Indonesian rock band that took its influence from such heavyweights as the Rolling Stones, the Doors, and Aerosmith, as well as more modern players as the Stone Roses and Oasis.
Their debut album, Mencoba Sukses, was released in 2006. Taking a page from the "how to be rock & roll" handbook, the Changcuters all took the last name of "Changcut" à la the Ramones and the Donnas. ~ Chris True
