Jackson's piano-led pop takes much of its influence from the classic Merseybeat sounds of his hometown mixed with the mid-'60s American West Coast pop of the Beach Boys and Love. First performing under the name Catchers, Jackson recorded some early homemade demos, eventually working with producer/composer and former Coral guitarist Bill Ryder-Jones. On the strength of those recordings, Jackson, now working under the name We Are Catchers, signed with London's Domino Records and released both his debut single "Tap Tap Tap" and his self-titled LP in March 2014. ~ Timothy Monger
