Hailing from Chapel Hill, NC, the punk-pop quintet the B-Sides included bassist Ken Mosher (formerly of Squirrel Nut Zippers), guitarists Ari Picker and Noah Smith, keyboardist Travis Horton, and drummer Eric Kuhn.
A self-described "geek rock" band (à la Weezer, etc.), the B-Sides issued a pair of releases, an EP titled Two Beautiful Beachers, and their full-length debut on Cargo Records, Yes, Indeed, the B-Sides, Quite! After personnel changes reduced the group to the duo of Picker and Smith, they added a new rhythm section consisting of brothers Jonny and Joah Tunnell of Vibrant Green and changed the band's name to the Never.~ Greg Prato
