For an EP that is essentially an untouched live recording, this is a pretty good EP. The tracks are all instrumental and very much in the vein of the indie psychadellia vibe mastered by Yo La Tengo and visited by Massive Attack, meaning driving drum beats, entrancing bass lines, and free-form guitar.
The EP has seven songs and enough potential to make me wonder how far this band can go, and what their future direction might be. It definitely relies on riding a solid groove, and should these guys ever work in a Phish cover, or cover a song that Phish has covered, may wake up to find tents on their lawn...
