On Saturday Nov 10 2007 tragedy struck us when Lance Romance passed away from heart failure. He leaves behind his son Wylan Faulk, his girl Vicky, his devoted bandmates, and countless friends and family. He will be missed more than even he could possibly imagine.

Emerging from the shores of Orange County, California, THE ATTRACTION, a rock-solid four-piece band, is hitting the scene hard with a massive wave of unforgettable live music. Formed in 2003, THE ATTRACTION is Lance Romance (vocals), Beaver (Bass), Master John (Guitar) and Humper T. (Drums). Having both survived traumatic life changing experiences, Beaver and Lance agree that When death stares you in the face, it really makes you appreciate life, so we rock every second of every show as if its our last. The members intense passions for music brought them together as their incredible respect for each other formed a bond of musical talent to be recognized. Their driving sound, embedded with sincere lyrics and catchy riffs, truly connects the band with their listeners. The band describes their music as a recipe of equal parts Punk, Reggae, Garage, Indie, and some Brit-Guitar-Pop, tossed in with a pinch of spice for a little extra kick, then mixed in a blender and poured onto a dimly-lit stage for a perfect serving of THE ATTRACTION Serves Millions! THE ATTRACTION recently released their first full-length album, Step Right Up!, which has appeared in Skratch magazine, garnered rave reviews, and has seen much recent radio airplay across the U.S. As THE ATTRACTION ignites the stage with their own style of Indie-Punk and Rock, their interaction with the crowd fuels the fans and leaves them begging for more

I miss you Lance. You always made everyone around you feel special and loved. You were the best Uncle a girl could ask for. You were always so positive and joyful. God has a beautiful angel with him now. I love you.
Today was beautiful... I'd like to say the only thing missing was you... but in reality, I think you were there. Thanks for turning off the microphone in the perfect spot, we couldn't understand what he was saying anyway... lol

Lance thank you for always brightening my day. Your humor and charasmatic smile was invigorating, your spirit for life was obvious and your style was magnetic. We are so sorry for your loss. Losing a band member is a very hard thing to go through.From meeting him that night, we can tell he was a nice guy, talented too. Stay strong. You are in our thoughts.
LANCE!!! i never got the chance to thank you for the song you wrote. in it, you mentioned stopping by my music club while you were on the road, and that is the most special thing ANY band has ever done! you thanked me on your CD, and i am honored and truly touched!
i will never forget the late-night conversation we had about life, death, music... you name it, we probably talked about it. you will always be a gem to me! i'm glad our paths crossed in this lifetime, and i am certain our paths will cross again.

Even though i have worked at the Hyatt for 7 months i still remember Lance bein that person who always had a smile on his face... imma miss seeing u man. even though u worked mornin shifts an i did so in the afternoon there were times where u worked into the afternoon and again u always had a smile on ur face. gahh. its not the same.....
I met Lance only twice but could tell he was a genuine and kind soul. My heart goes out to his family and friends, but most of all to Wylan...your dad will always be with you. Lance, may God bless you and bring you peace.

RIP Lance.......... I'm still in shock. He was loved by so many people, it's such a tragedy. You know what they say.....only the good die young. Just like James Dean, gone, but never forgotten. Love you guys, ~B

Sorry to hear the news. Wow, our boys used to go to school/hang out together. Tell Wylan Ian Martin and I are so sorry. Lance was such a great guy. This just shows you that life is soooooo short. I wish his family the best and if they need anything let me know.
