The Adventures Of B.Violet are nothing more than true tales from B.s life and those around her with a little bit of the fairytales/Brothers Grimm thrown in there.

When the muse strikes her its a direct result of intimate first hand interactions with everyday people.

Its human subtleties that fire me up, I soak them up like a sponge and I really do care too much. When my emotions are strong and localized about a situation, thats when I write.

She maintains an ignorance is bliss attitude to the politics of the day, social climate, even mainstream music.

Unless something walks up to me and explodes like a fire-work in my face and hits that raw nerve, be that good or bad, it doesnt even feature in terms of personal mental airplay.

Its this born yesterday approach to general knowledge and common sense that probably makes B.Violet eccentric.

I cant help it, I dreamt through maths classes at school because I didnt FEEL any instant relevance, yet I knew Hamlets soliloquies off by heart.

B.Violet writes of the universal. The silent scream of every jaded cyber-doll, of desperate wishes, too intense to be voiced in the everyday, or some distant score that she feels never was quite settled.

When I write a song I always imagine that Im sending a message:- whoever you are, youre not alone, for god sake laugh about it and do something with your pro-active angst before it becomes you. No-matter how rabid you feel right now, you do have a choice to better the situation.
