About me:
22, Senior at CSUN in Northridge, California. I enjoy anime, manga, Japanese culture, traveling, Photoshop, fanfiction and writing, journalism, and music. I try to DDR and play RPGs, and I'd like to consider myself a bit crafty, a bit of a computer geek, part cook, and a sort of Pagan/Jew mix (if that makes sense). I'm an artisté, a former ROTC cadet (C/2LT, if that matters to anyone), and while TECHNICALLY in the market, I'm not really looking. For the record, I dislike being pestered by old weird guys wanting to know me without giving me a good reason to want to know them.)Go me.

Who I'd like to meet:
Barbara Walters, Katie Couric... and probably plenty of other female journalists, writers, and newscasters that I admire. I had the good fortune of meeting Erin Brockovich once, and KRON4's Pam Moore. I'm more interested in the people behind the news stories, the camera, and the big glitzy lights and expensive makeup than I am in the celebrities (though that's not to say I'd be against meeting, say, Christian Bale...)
As for more ordinary people, I like meeting anyone who's got at least a few things in common with me. I'm hesitant to meet anyone I haven't talked to a lot, be it on MySpace, IM, or over the phone... But meeting some cool people to hang out with would be nice. I love discussions about everything from pop culture to the state of education, travel, web design, and overpriced software.
