Sounds Like
Men bearing witness to the sounds their knees make as they bend in prayer,
before the dawn, in a cold, dirty barn on the outskirts of town, with only the mist rising above the fields to carry their sorrow and hope to the heavens.
"Surely all art is the result of one's having been in danger, of having gone through an experience all the way to the end," said the poet Rilke. And so it is with Daniel Moore's lyrical earthquakes and Chuck Sandru's and Mitch Jaber Jr's, musical reconstruction. One is left as they once were, and are bound to be again, searching for a safe path to walk through the wreckage of this beautiful, broken world. Like any true artists those paths begin in the unguarded temples of their hearts, where there on the walls, written in blood are the peaceful psalms and brutal ballads, prophetic hymns of men gone mad with the power of clarity and truth.
Whether it's the aching lament of a relapsed addict in the song, "Angel Of Remorse," or the voice of a lover drunk on eros, in the song "Never Wake Up," not a breath of life is assumed or forgotten. These are hymns of heretics and saints, composed in a monastery few will ever visit, and still fewer could ever call "Home."
But for those who can listen with the ears of their soul, and see with eyes of their heart, these are roses blooming in the barbed wire, dreams you have with your eyes wide open, visions of life beaten into love by the cold, stone hammer of loss. The Brothers want you to listen. The Brothers need you to hear. Their first album, "Angel Of Remorse," is scheduled for release sometime in the Fall of 2008. If you have a chance to see them live, please don't miss it. Their presence on stage totally incarnates the passion and beauty of their songs. On behalf of Daniel, Chuck, and Mitch we thank you for listening and for the kindness of your time.

I really enjoyed your music tonight at NPCC. A very honest sound. I don't know if you saw me scribbling away back there, but your music inspired a decent poem. I'll send it your way when i'm done editing.

GREAT JOB LITTLE BROTHERS on your performance at Tall Ships!!! AWESOME JOB!!! You all sounded great and having Mitch on drums really enhances you the sound of your music! I will do my best at trying to be there to see you perform again on Friday. Too bad they won't have roasted corn on the cob. hahaha!!!
Hey Little Brothers...I will have to see about the Friday show. I will try my best to get there. I might bring one of Kaylei's friends. Tell Lovely Laura, that I miss the heck out of her. There is nobody at my work like her and it sucks. Even though I knew she wouldn't be replaceable.
