CUT THE ROPE. Gawdamighty this CD is hot. If heaven is a blues-rock bar (and I'm hoping it is ... ), then TQB will be the house band. TQB evokes some of the classic rock and blues greats - Clapton, Walter Trout, Robin Trower, Coco Montoya, Stevie Ray. Another round of beer here - then put on TQB as loud as it can go and let me just plain enjoy.
Thanks for the music!!!

Take the steely blues guitar sound from Stevie Ray Vaughn, match it with the rhythmic bass and drumming of Golden Earring and you get the Terry Quiett Band and one heck of a show.
The crowd at KatHouse, consisting of mostly people waiting for later bands, was treated to quite a surprise and quickly got into the show, making for a fantastic atmosphere.
The place erupted as the lead singer, Terry Quiett, held some of the notes for what seemed like minutes in their cover of Pink Floyd's "Have a Cigar."
The band put its own twist on a crowd favorite when they covered Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower." Starting the song in a cool, calm Dylan style, the candle-lit room was reminiscent of MTV's Unplugged set. As the song progressed, the band showed its true colors as it broke out the electrifying guitar sounds made popular by Jimi Hendrix's version of the classic.
Overall it was an amazing show and would have been well worth the outrageous cover charge had it lasted more than 45 minutes.
I recommend this show to any rock-'n'-roll fan.
Recorded in OKC our cover of Bullet in a Blue Sky..

This is the good stuff, kids! This is what I've been looking for. A slow blues/rock song ala Johnny Lang, Derek Trucks, Stevie Ray, and The Black Crowes, that puts all the elements of the genre; soulful singing, laid back rhythms, and stinging, crying in your beer, guitar licks,in perfect harmony with one another. The vocal harmonies in the coda were so good they almost brought me to tears; the perfect embodiment of the protagonists loneliness and lovelost isolation.

Great laid back ballady track with great perfomances. The guitar player is very expressive and tasteful with note choice and suberb bending technique. The vocalist is another great performer sounding like a real pro. The drums and the bass are nothing fancy but do not need to be they hold down the groove and sound right in the pocket which is just perfectly. My type of blues really great stuff.

I'm loving the intro guitar tone. Very very nice. Vocals sound great, nice mix, well produced. Lead guitar is fantastic - tone, tone, tone! Sound is tight. This is a great song.
