About Excuse The Dust...Restoration Is Taking Place
For most people to become successful at one endeavor is an accomplishment. It is to the credit of anyone when it can be said that they are either a successful singer or actor. Nevertheless, TERRENCE COTTON has been blessed by GOD to be one of those very rare people to be successful at both.
TERRENCE started singing in the church at the age of three. While other little boys were playing with trucks, TERRENCE was singing into broom handles on the front porch. Its evident that he always knew what he wanted in life.
TERRENCE resides in Snellville, Georgia with wife Stephanie and is the father of Sparkle (California), Tajah, Samejah, and Terrence II.
The LORD has opened a lot of doors for TERRENCE. He has shared the stage with great singers such as Tramaine Hawkins, Shirley Caesar, Vickie Winans, Kurt Carr, John P. Kee, Lenny Williams, Byron Cage, The Clark Sisters, Commission, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Dave Hollister, Melba Moore, Patti Labelle, Kim Burrell, Montell Jordan, Keith Sweat and the Temptations.
TERRENCE earned his first national recognition as a cast member of the hit Gospel Musical Production, A Good Man Is Hard To Find. Other credits include: Can You Help My Child, A Mothers Love, My Grandmother Prayed For Me Parts 1 & 2, Lord, Why Do I Keep Choosing The Wrong Man, A Real Woman Needs a Real Man , Too Much Woman, Not Enough Man and Just Be A Man About It. TERRENCE is a versatile performer who adds spice to any production. Whether hes ministering in song or alluring an audience into a fictional world through his character, TERRENCE understands performing and does it well.
TERRENCEs voice will not only satisfy your appetite for the Traditional/Contemporary Spiritual Music, but it will free your inner man.
TERRENCE COTTON is being heralded as one of the upcoming pace setters of Gospel Music. After experiencing his Style and the Anointing on his life, you will discover that TERRENCE COTTON is destined for success through JESUS CHRIST.
HEAR THE MESSAGE IN HIS SONG
One of the many ways God blesses His people is to send individuals into our lives who make positive differences. These “angels” manifest anointings that enrich all who encounter them. Minister Troy White is such a brother. For more than twenty five years now, Troy has work in the ministry as a faithful musician. After 15 years in the broadcast industry, in July 2006 he resigned from his job at the television station to start his own production company. On March 27, 2008, while traveling from Atlanta on business, to his home in Port St. Joe, Fl, Brother Troy was snatched from the jaws of death by a merciful Savior after a serious car accident. After 3 weeks in ICU and another week in the hospital he is now at home recovering. Although at this time he is still unable to walk we do praise GOD for his life. With several fractures to the pelvis, back, rib and face, he will be out of work for quite some time.
Many who heard about the accident have shown support and continue to keep Troy, his wife, Erika and 3 year old daughter Caitlin lifted in prayer. For that we say thank you. We are told that most who called or visited said “...if there is anything I can do let me know.” Well, there is something. The family and friends of Troy & Erika are coming together on May 31, 2008, at 4pm for a benefit concert to be held in Macon GA at the Pentecostal Temple (928 Anthony Rd).
The purpose of this service will be to experience the flow of the Spirit and raise monies to help this family through this recovery time. The gift of your presence is requested. Be that gift in the form of a thought, a song or finances, it will be greatly appreciated. Please acknowledge your cherished participation by calling, e-mailing or writing:
