After coming together in 2003, Tension Speak has quickly earned the reputation as a band that makes music on its own terms. The band has a growing following and is a favorite in the local and regional Texas music scene.
Tension Speak has been featured on the very popular San Antonio local radio show Texas Traxx (99.5 KISS) and has been awarded slots on The Edge Magazine’s "Real TX Edge” CD compilation (two years in a row) which showcases the best rock/metal bands in Texas.
In 2004 and 2006, the band embarked on self-financed tours throughout LA, NM, AZ, and CA where they performed at such legendary venues as the Roxy on the Sunset Strip, the House of Blues and others, making new fans along the way.
Tension Speak has been honored to share the stage with several national acts including: Shinedown, Sevendust, Flaw, Adema, Bobaflex, and The Burden Brothers.
With a combination of melodic vocal patterns, modern hard rock riffs and thunderous percussion, Tension Speak brings an intense sound and dynamic live performance that is unique to the San Antonio rock scene. Their dedication, intensity, and professionalism define what Texas rock is all about.
