About Telling Stories: music and readings

What we're up to: Telling Stories is a concert series that blends mixed chamber works, commissioned compositions and first-person essays into a monthly live show. We are comprised of professional classical musicians and writers from all over the Front Range that play with local professional orchestras and write for local newspapers and magazines. We are passionate about getting out of the stuffy concert hall – our current concert series happens on the stage in the back of a coffee shop. We’re driven to attract a new, younger, more casual audience to classical music and literature.

If you'd like, you can send any recordings to me at the address on my MySpace (the one for the station) and I can play you on air! I'm trying to promote all the local artists I can, because I myself am one and know how much talent lies in this area, and how little exposure there is. If you have a performance schedule or anything of that nature, I can also post it on my calendar and possibly aanounce it on air. Thanks for the add, and PLEASE keep it up!
