'The MissFitz' were formed in 2006 by a dedicated group of men & women who were dealt a devastating blow due to the loss their precious 27 year-old friend, Liz "Miss Fitz" FitzSimon, to cervical cancer. The team is back and anxious to keep making a difference in the world, now participating for a third year in the Revlon Run/Walk for Women's cancers in Los Angeles.
On Saturday, May 10, 2008 we not only walk in memory of our dear friends Liz FitzSimon & China Stogner (cousin of fellow MissFitz team member Jesse Ervin, who passed away on October 23, 2006 due to complications from her treatments for cervical cancer at the age of 24) but also for every friend, sister, aunt, mother and human being that has been affected by and is coping with cancer.
You can join us in the fight against women's cancers by making a donation OR joining the team. Your donation will help fund important research into the cause and cure of women's cancers, prevention, education and support service programs. Every donation will help bring us one step closer to a cure. Until a cure is found and we know that all women are safe, we must continue the fight.
Please stop & take a look at our team's page:www.themissfitz.com

Who I'd like to meet: You!
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you must stop and look fear in the face. You must do the things you think you cannot do! - E. Roosevelt
One isn't necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can't be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest. -Maya Angelou
Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The trouble-makers. The round heads in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them. But the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. -Jack Kerouac
we miss you so much, Liz. I'll never forget when you took me and a couple of the roommates for a drive one night and said that the lights of San Francisco looked like someone had thrown a blanket of stars out over the city. your imagination was so great. love ya!

I was listening to Bro Hymn today, and it reminded me of the Pennywise concert we went to at The Vault. That was the night you started calling me Creamy, and was one of the best nights I've ever had. I miss you so much...
Happy Birthday girl...Sure do miss our long phone conversations about nothing. I know we would have had one sometime this week between our d-days. I love you and miss you. -Jennifer
