First off I have to say I love your newspaper, I read it everyday! My main reason for posting a comment is to win the John Mayer tickets. Here it goes.... So I have a really good friend whose 21st birthday is August 27,2008. She has been planning it and has invested hundreds of dollars. It was a wonderful idea, rent out a place, have all of her friends there, and drink the night away... Until she found out she was pregnent two days ago. She lost the deposit on the place because of the short cancelation notice and all other money she spent. As like most people, your 21st birthday is supposed to be the coolest, but she has been so down about her situation. She is a huge John Mayer fan and I would love nothing more than to suprise her with tickets so she can still have a "happy birthday." If you could help at all it would be great.
Hey tbt! Okay well I hate using sad stories to my advantage but sometimes that is life. These John Mayer tickets would a huge gift for me. I haven't had the opportunity to attend many concerts in my life and this is one that I do not want to miss! I had a rough 2007, which started off with being diagnosed with skin cancer – melanoma and by the end of the year I had gone through over 10 surgeries. This year has been okay but I got back next which I am not looking forward to. To add to this, I just found out that my parents are moving to TX, which only complicates thing for me. So as many people, I have had a lot of negative things happen in my life lately and although I am trying to look at the positive, I think that attending the awe-inspiring John Mayer concert would help! Thank you in advance for choosing me for the tickets and I will see you at the concert on Saturday!
Its rare to come across someone who is considered a musical genius. John Mayer, throughout his record sales, is still an underrated artist in the industry. His song "Waiting on the World to Change" is a classic, and is the modern day version of Marvin Gaye's "What's Goin' On." It's more than the hook, the lyrics raise consciousness, letting listeners know if we take a second out of our busy lives, there are problems in this world that go ignored. No stacks of money, sexual exploits, and fast cars. He sings about real life, without compromise. I would like to attend the concert because he is an inspiration to myself and others around him. And in this day in age, thats rare. Thanks TBT.
OK, I could use these tickets to the John Mayer concert, because I am in the DOG HOUSE!! Last Weekend My wife was away at a Womans Conference. I had the bright Idea of having a Party in the living room with my (Outside) English bulldog, Dutch. It was Awesome!, We indulged in Sam Adams Oktoberfest and grilled shrimp. We watched the Olympics all night! We were both loving life!!! Anyway when my Wife got home I was lying on the couch with the Dog sprawled at my feet. There were 2 puddles of urine on the hardwood floor(from Dutch, not me. We were both caught like 2 stupid criminals so she was, and is still is a tad disgruntled with Dutch and myself, These Tickets will get me back in the light
well....i absolutly loveeeee! John Mayer, and would like a chance to meet him,but im not gonna give you guys a sad story to win them,lol you can just take my word for it that im a true fan and i promise those tickets will be put to good use if you give them to me:)
Hey tbt...First off, I want to say that I love your newspaper. I read one everyday at work. 2nd off, I need to tell you why I need those JOHN MAYER TIX! I just had my birthday on August 13th and I didn't have much of a birthday because my fiance and I are saving up all of the little bit that we have in order to have a decent wedding for all our family to attend. And to be honest, because money isn't the best right now and we are unable to save that much, the wedding might have to be pushed back further than September 25, 2009. So, the tix would not only be a GREAT late b-day gift since we couldn't afford to do much on my b-day but it would help me to get the wedding financial dramas off my mind for a few hours and enjoy this concert. So, please pick me!!!! I would appreciate this SOOO much, you don't even know. :0)
