Bill Mason and Sean Michael Imler met in 2006, as they frequented the local open mic and acoustic music circuit in the Silicon Valley. Frustrated by limitations they faced as solo artists, they joined their vocal and guitar forces to blend their sounds. They found that they complimented each other perfectly, in vocal timbres, harmonic abilities, songwriting styles, and personalities. They play folk rock, with influences from many songwriters from the 70’s, such as The Eagles, Bob Dylan, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, CSNY, and Simon and Garfunkel. They also pull liberally from several other genres, in particular heavy metal, funk, and punk rock, to create a truly unique folk rock sound. They named themselves Tarradiddle because they pride themselves on taking their music seriously but not taking themselves too seriously.
