Movies
I can't even begin - if I liked it, I liked it, I can't compare it because you like different movies for different things. I hate close-captioned and subtitles - takes away from the movie (I'm glad we have it for those who need it, but not my preference), don't like horror (except I love vampire movies - Dark Shadows still influencing my life), don't like stupid (hey, apparently a lot of people do), not big on foreign films, but then we don't get many locally), after that it's pretty wide open, tho my favorite genre at this point is action movies or romantic comedy - don't need any more stress in my life, want to be entertained.
Don't watch much, like having history channel, discovery or animal channel on in background while on the computer.
Did do 4 seasons of 24 on DVD, football. Oh, yeah, House - I do usually watch that. Love Hugh Laurie.
Books
Usually read 3 a week so I like a lot, Harry Potter series, Evanovich series, Sandford's Prey series, Baldacci, Vince Flynn, Stephen White, James Hall, most of the popular novelists
Heroes
Our military, teachers, firemen, policemen - those who serve us and our children for little pay.
About me: I love my kids most of all, but also people in general, music, massage, photography, reading, movies, racquetball, dancing, singing (you know I just said I loved these, not that I was good!).
I love the beach, particularly at night on a full moon with the wind blowing.
I love Key West and the multi-cultural mix of people and the way I feel like the best of myself when I'm there.
I love meeting new people and learning about them.
I believe in a higher power but don't deal well with man-made religious rules - the important stuff gets lost - just live life the way you know you are supposed to - it's really pretty easy.
