New York based trio consisting of cello, keys, drums, and vocals. The music ventures into a bold new genre of modern pop, played on traditionally classical instrumentation in a very untraditional way. Although closely resembling rock and indie, we capture a futuristic retro sound, as if the synths of the 80’s were combined with the blues of the 20’s, in a beautiful baroque hallucination of the early 21st century.

Yeah, I am:)I love his unique and grotesque way of drawing, his imagination, his passion for Poe and Mister Vincent Price. And last but not least I like his thoughts about children. He's an amazing person and I can't wait any longer for his remake of Frankenweenie (a short film of Burton that he made in 1984)and....Alice in Wonderland!!*excited*:)
Hello, it is not an upside-down mushroom (look closely). Korea is excellent. I love your voice. I found you through Lisa's page. I especially love your rendition of "shady grove" - beautiful.
Yes, I heard Takenobu on NPR (WAMC). Luckily, I was taking a nice, snow-filled drive in the country. I *really* like the cello arrangement, and Nick's voice. The performance was raw in a critical way. Rock on, guys.
I did man, what an amazing and unique sound and songwriting.. Greatly looking forward to hearing some more of what you have down.. Kudos for breaking some molds! Play much up this way?

I just added a very cool song by them on my profile...They're definetely one of my fav. bands and the ones that actually made me get interested in cello in the first place... Anyway, how's it been over there? how's life? Have you written/recorded any new stuff? Greetings! Miguel
