Influences

The band draws from a wide range of influences including such bands as Joy Division, Smashing Pumpkins, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, the Smiths, New Order, Tool, Garbage, the Cure, Nirvana, Fugazi, Shellac and the Pixies. This vast mix of influences married well with this eclectic group of musicians to produce a sound all their own.

About Tailspin Recovery

Tailspin Recovery is a hardworking indie rock quartet based out of Tampa, Florida. Formed in the fall of 2004 when (bassist) Josh Sherman and (drummer) Dan Levine started jamming and writing music. the addition of (vocalist) Jenny Wiseman and (guitarist) K.Paul Boyev solidified the line-up. Two years later, the band was faced with an untimely demise due to K.Paul's departure from gigging. The surviving members sought to keep the dream alive, and met up with (guitarist) Adam Burton. Adam soon became part of the TSR family and the band started to gig in support of their soon to be released album, "Broken Together Apart Forever."
