WHO IS "SUSAN GET DOWN"?
Susan Get Down is a three-piece electronica supergroup comprised of solo artist Devian Starr and dance duo Remake Up (Jem/Mr. A.). Devian met Jem on the Goldfrapp message board and decided to do one track together - "HotBoxx". Devian had already written the lyrics but had shelved the song as it didn't fit his typical moody artrock format. When Jem sent an untitled, music-only track, Devian realized that his lyrics fit perfectly with the music and a beautiful musical relationship was created. What started as one song turned into two, then three, and so forth - you get the idea.
WHERE DOES THE NAME "SUSAN GET DOWN" COME FROM?
Since "Devian Starr & Remake Up" just wasn't going to cut it in terms of a band name, the trio decided to come up with something else. They asked friends, their fans - everyone for input. Nothing seemed to stick. One day, Jem sent Devian an email, recommending "Susan Get Down", which was the title of a song by the Spanish duo Almodóvar & McNamara. The theme of the song seemed to fit the same dirty, complex mood of the music Devian and Remake Up were creating, so it was decided that "Susan Get Down" would be the name of the band!
WHERE DO YOU ALL LIVE???
Devian is an American and lives in San Diego, California. Jem and Mr. A. are both Spanish and live in Malaga, Spain. Even though the trio are continents apart, they are connected by a mutual love of melody and just seem to click - even though they have never met in person!!!

I totally agree about ANTM losing it's luster, but it's still better than a lot of shows out there. I read that Tyra wants to leave and put another model in her place.. I think she should just put Mr Jay in her place. You're right about Stacy Ann. I think Paulina looks gorgeous, and she's got a beautiful jaw line but I didn't see that same jaw line in Stace Ann's. That shit was TOOOOOOO hard and she had a short face... not a cute combo. However, Fatima needs her ass whooped for missing the shoot. :)

Magic wood, purple dress and her elfinian voice :). but when I want cry I listen to "Cloudbusting" -favourite roisin murphy track for dancing "Forever more", and for crying "Statues" i must be a very complicated person hahahah marjan
Isn't that a great song? I'm glad you appreciate it. I heard about GB playing with Radiohead, which is awesome. I should be going to a show, but the forces of the universe are converging against it. Did you see the finale of "Make Me a Supermodel"? I wanted Ben to get it just because he's a hot piece. All of the fabulous reality TV is over, but I am watching the dance show with Elizabeth Berkley. Unlike so many, I loved the cheese and glamour that was Showgirls and I loved that bitch in it. Am I missing any fabulous reality TV?
