About Supurbia

Supurbia play attacking, melodic guitar based songs with great harmonies and the occasional slower delivery. Supurbia songs are frequently described as 'honest' for some reason and we've written about 50 to date. Burgess/Newton/Sawtell are a songwriting team and playing live gives us the feedback we need in order to develop our material besides being a good Laff. 'Alien Bird' reached the Semi finals of the International Songwriting Contest in 2006 and the semis of the UK Songwriting Contest in August 2007 (as did 'Maybe')
