Stone River, Out of the Shadows (myspace.com/stoneriverbandct1). A rock trio of acoustic guitar, electric bass and drums, Stone River sounds sultry, yet sassy and funky enough to be interesting. From the relatively chill first track, "Dream to Dream," onto the rousing bass lines of "Something More," Out of the Shadows is adept at maintaining complex and infectious rhythms and melodies. They're so likable that you can jam to them even into the 11th and last track.
