Jack's Interests
|
| General | I do like studying gemstones, in particular notorious pieces such as the Hope Diamond. Travel and drinking rank pretty high too. | | Music | Cranberries, Ry Cooder, early U2/Simple Minds, and Eddie Rabbitt for starters.
I must make mention of The Saw Doctors, who mix an Irish sound with modern music, and We Are Scientist (one of the few modern bands I wouldn't mind catching live) | | Movies | The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Easy Rider, the first Manchurian Candidate, The Adventures of Robin Hood (rookie), and The Lost Weekend (I've actually drank more, though it got me into similar situations) are amongst my choice selections. | | Television | For a dead guy, I have not much use for recent television.
Having said that, I do like Scrubs, Mythbusters and Law and Order (ironic in a sense).
I can't stand "Grey's Anatomy", though I can't say why (because House is rather good, even if he's British) | | Books | My reading skills aren't what could be considered passable in modern day society, so when I do read, I tend to avoid books that use ten dollar words. Pompous is what it is.
Actually, from what I gather, not much is being read these days.
And though it may seem arrogant, "Stingy Jack" by R. Scott Taylor. Hey, a book based on your life and you wouldn't read it? | | Heroes | All my heroes are dead, like me. I no longer look towards heroes, but to men and women who stand behind their convictions. |

Jack's Blurbs |
About me:
Hello friends and foes,
Jack O'Keeffe here, welcoming you to my page. On the advice of a writer friend, I'm here to "make my presence known". So in return for this "ghost-writing", I'm obligated to mention his novel called, "Stingy Jack" by R. Scott Taylor
There, boyo, tit for tat.
A little about me. I've been dead for about three centuries now and have no current fixed residence. In my breathing days, I was once a decent blacksmith, but a better thief. I lived in the moment, and perhaps that helped in my downfall. Looking back, I would've probably wanted to change a lot, but I probably wouldn't.
Stop on by, but be patient with me for I am not an expert in online matters. I'm rather old.

Who I'd like to meet:
I've met so many people, that this is an awkward piece. I would have liked to have met Nicola Tesla. I would like to meet Christopher Walken. I like his sense of humor.
