Hello...I am Steve Wyse. Thank you for visiting my space!
About me....I am a Native American flute maker, a recording artist, and a performer. I am a seventh generation grandson of the Lene Lenape people of Pennsylvania. I believe that my purpose in life is to (in a small way) help to fulfill the seventh generation prophecy that the Native people will once again come back to their power, and that everyone will learn to respect the old ways. I try to do this through the example that I set in the way that I live my life. Although I’m not perfect, I try to live my life in a good way - a somewhat traditional way.
For me, the flute is not just a piece of wood that makes noise. It’s alive. It’s a part of the tree which is part of the forest which is part of the Earth and so on. I try to listen to what the tree has to say, for I feel like we can learn much from the tall standing ones. I try to express what I’m feeling, as well as what the tree is saying to me as I play.
My first CD is titled Listen...The Tree Speaks. It has only one track which is 1 hour long. very good for meditation.
My latest CD is titled "Sound Healing". The music was made specifically for a group called Kaleidoscope out of the SanFrancisco area. Kaleidoscope is a non-profit organization that helps people to live with cancer. I wanted to create music that heals on an energetic level. Sound Healing is a chakra balancing recording. I made a flute that is tuned to resonate with the sound frequency of each of the 7 major chakra energy centers. I also invoke the healing power of specific animals depending on what their power is to add strength to the medicine. Each of the seven songs are about 8 minutes long which is why they are slightly more expensive to purchase individually if you are downloading the mp3’s. The total time of the CD is about 58 minutes.

Man it was honor for me to have performed with you also. Your gift as a musician and singer is just remarkable. I think I hurt myself when you song low on Sunday (Geee Wizzzz). We raised some money, gave people a good time and got back safe. It’s great to work with someone that shares this understanding of love, positive energy, healing and fun. Steve your music is just wonderful!..i love the way you have put the animal sounds with your flute..i love the creatures of earth!..i believe trees are ancient spirits..that help us breath and the flute made from this ancient spirit is played by you and the music and you are one and the ancients speak through you as you play your music ..i hear it feel it and thank you for all you do..for all you create and the tree sings on because of your love..and both of you are like one..
