Grew up with MANY influences including everything from The Partridge Family to 3 Dog Night (HUGE FAN!!) But, over the long haul, it's gotta be RUSH!!! #1 in my book. I'm up for almost anything except rap. Black Sabbath (OZZY and DIO years), Scorpions, UFO, Michael Schenker, QUEEN! I love TONIC! KT Tunstall is...is...too young for me.
I also enjoy most country...Keith Urban, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Toby Keith and Clint Black and for blues and blues/country, ONLY Kim Simmonds' Savoy Brown. Lee Roy Parnell too. They've made the biggest impact on me much more than professionally. Great people. Loreena McKennitt and area violin genius, Geoffrey Castle are amazing!
Movies
WAY too many of different styles and genres. Where do I begin...? From "House Of A Thousand Corpses", "Silent Hill" to "Rear Window" and "Napoleon Dynamite". Anything with Eliza Dushku or Scarlett!
M. Night Shyamalan is my lord and ruler. "Signs" should be a religion. A Tim Burton/Johnny Depp creation is always a fave. PHANTASM! Alot of fun and GREAT soundtrack. "This Is Spinal Tap"!
A good INDIE movie is awsome...even with subtitles. :)
"Ghost World", "Lost In Translation"...egad some kinda flicks and killer soundtracks too.
Television
Guilty pleasure..."Buffy". Yes, it's true! Not a Buffy trivia geek or Sarah Michelle Gellar stalker, just a fan of every night (and day) being "Halloween". Cool! A few reality shows...Hell's Kitchen, Ghosthunters, Match Game :), and "24"!! Jack Bauer rules! Recently getting sucked into "Men In Trees"...something about Anne Heche liking dudes now.
