Freshout	Mar 14 2007 1:34 AM The former "Real World House" - F.U.E.L. Collection art gallery - kicks off a new exhibition entitled Across the Sea this Friday March 16th with special live performances by members of Grimace Federation (myspace.com/grimacefederation), Philly Slick (myspace.com/philadelphiaslick), and Drake (myspace.com/drakeonline). If you haven't checked out these bands, you're missing out, and this is the perfect opportunity to get a proper introduction to some of Philly's finest in funk, hip-hop, and jazz. The exhibit features illustrations from 40 artists who interpreted the phrase Across the Sea with no outside direction, as well as some dope mural installations on the gallery's walls (click the flyer link to peep some of the artwork). Munchies and drinks (yes, of the alcohol variety) will be provided for everyone that chills upstairs where the live music is going down. This event's going to be solid, definitely try to make it out.
