Again, I do like a wide selection of movies.

-HI, my name is Star. My personal page is under the name of Splitter. It is set to private because I wish it to be that way. If we happen to get to know each other pretty well through this page I may send you an invite to that page. There is also a page on here for Red Pine Protogrove, ADF, our Druidic Congregation. Anyways, I have been living in the Elk River area for a few years now. I am Neo-Pagan. For those out there, I am not Wiccan. Do not confuse me with those who are Wiccan. Not that I think that there is something wrong with Wiccans. A few of my friends are studying to be Wiccans, of one tradition or another. I know that I have Wiccan selected on religion; however, it seems to be the only Neo-Pagan choice this site provides. I have always been an Eclectic Neo-Pagan. I began my journey in Neo-Paganism from about 1994 to present date, well; I fully understood that I was part of the Neo-Pagan Movement in about 1996. I, originally, started with Wicca. Reading whatever I could find and learning that some authors just write books with very bad research. Later I grew discontent with Wicca. I just didn’t feel right, for myself, about the structure. I have always been Solitary. I am now a member of Ar nDraiocht Fein: ADF, and I am working on the Dedicant Program. I was focusing on the Hellenic Culture. However, I have decided to focus solely on the Irish Celtic Hearth Culture. It is said that this program will take about a year. However, if you don’t have a game plan it will take more than that. This program requires constant study and review if you really want it to take a year only. It isn’t as hard as it may sound. There is a wonderful Guide Book on the ADF web page that a member wrote to help with this problem. It is only available to members though. He broke it down into week lessons. One lesson per each week of the year until it is completed. (For those who are curious go to: http://www.adf.org )

I was introduced to this wonderful organization (ADF) by an old friend that helped me out many times in the past, when I was 19. She was a Sr. Druid for her Grove. As time went on, I lost contact with her and most of the people that had made a wonderful impact within my life. Not too long ago I had remembered the ADF website and wrote into them to find people in my area. I explained my situation and they sent my request to my old friend. She was very helpful, and helped me make contact with some great people close to my area. (Of course all of these people's real names and what have you will remain unspoken, due to respect of their private lives.) Hopefully, one day, I will be able to put Minnesota back on the ADF listing of Groves... Well, it would have to be a Protogrove first. Just to let you know that my friend Mariah is attempting to get ADF members together to pull a protogrove together at: http://groups.google.com/group/adf-minnesota Their name is Wild Rice Protogrove.

I am also looking build a protogrove for the Elk River area and the surrounding small town communities. My goal is to bring an open Pagan Community to these areas. With this also brings the education to dispel some of the misconceptions that some people still hold on to in the small town areas about Wicca and other Modern Pagan Religions. Also, realize that I do send out periodic bulletins asking for people to help out with gatherings and events.

Who I'd like to meet: I would like to meet others of like mind. Close as possible is okay, as well. Although, I do request that I do not have people that are stuck in the fantasy world of AD&D or LARPers. This does not mean that I have a problem with gamers. The Pot can't call the kettle black(well when people didn't have cook ware that came in rainbow assorted colors anyway.) White Wolf and AD&D, mainly Vampire the masqurade... However, I have met one too many people in the past that could not leave the fantasy world of gaming...
