| About Stagger Inn...Again |
The rustic Stagger Inn is located at 104 E. Vandalia St., in Edwardsville. If you don't look for the triangular, protruding sign with the stag, you'll completely miss it.
The Stagger Inn's music selection spans a wide spectrum, encompassing rhythm & blues, alternative, acoustic and rock.
Thursdays and Saturdays offer students a casual scene with acoustic night. Fridays, however, kick up the amplifier a notch at 10 p.m. with live performances from local blues and rock bands. On open mic nights, which are Wednesdays and Sundays between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m., patrons can showcase their lyrical skills.
The Stagger Inn offers a menu for the adventurous and timid alike. Plates named the "Nightmare" and the "Staggerburger" leave those with a heart condition lying face down in a pool of jalepenos, cheese and hamburger. Vegetarian patrons can choose from dishes such as "Gardenburgers" and numerous salads. However, if you're looking for a late-night snack, you'll be out of luck here, because the grill closes at 8 p.m.
In addition to the unique menu, the Stagger Inn has an extensive selection of alcoholic beverages.
