I still love to dance like nobody's watching... Although nowadays, it's more like dancing WHEN nobody's watching. heh heh... :)
I'm a real homebody. Yeah, my home is my safe place to unwind and be comfortable and cozy. Other interests? Music, first and foremost. Dancing...Guitar playing...
I not only LOVE candles, incense & lavalights, but I need them to feel at peace and content with my world...
I love to cook and try new recipes. And I love to watch other people while they cook! I'm addicted to the website known as "Recipezaar.com", and you can find me there if you search for my Chef name: "Stacky5".
All of my personal favorite recipes, all of the really good new ones I've found, and even the recipes I've cooked, reviewed and photographed can be seen there, on my "About Me" page.
I am a spiritual soul and I love to watch people and try to figure out where they are in their spiritual journey of life...and why they do whatever it is that they do, and what causes people to behave in certain ways...
I am intrigued by moonlight, I adore pink dogwood trees & Kentucky redbud trees & butterflies, and blue morning glories are my favorite gift from nature...
...My favorite things to collect are cookbooks, kitty cat plates and cobalt blue glassware...
...Boring, I know. But that's just me...Nothing more, but definitely nothing less.
My Aura is Blue

Music to me? Paul McCartney...He has been singing directly to my soul ever since I was 5 years old...I absolutely adore him!
I adored him THEN, and I still adore him NOW. Sir Paul McCartney...
And then there's John Lennon... James Taylor... John Mayer... Barry Manilow... Elton John... Neil Diamond... Alanis Morrisette... Melissa Etheridge... Carly Simon... Carole King... Chicago... Karla Bonoff... Sheryl Crow... Tom Petty... Aerosmith and The Eagles! Pat Benatar... The Beatles! Dixie Chicks... So many others, I can't even begin to tell you! Artists who have changed me in one way or another... I also love classical music and musical theater, if the mood strikes me.
My experience of marriage...(If you listen to the words, they pretty much say how I always felt, which explains why I'm not married anymore.) I'm sorry, but I'm not willing to play the game...I've played the game for over 21 years, through 2 marriages, and I'm just too tired and disillusioned to go through it all over again.. Sadly, it seems that there's simply no payoff for an honest, loving woman in today's world. "Comin' Around Again" by Carly Simon.

Heroes
My Mom, My Dad, My Nana and Reverend Frank A. Hoffman. Then there are my modern-day heroes --- Shelly, Mike and Chris, my siblings. They're so special, and they're helping me find who I used to be, and the memories of the Angel heroes I've mentioned help me to remember who it was that I meant to be in the first place. :)

About me: Let me first share some memories of the Reese Crypt Tour 2008...
I'm about my family...They are the absolute reason for my continued existence on this earth, and they are the people who make me want to stay here. Without them, I'd be totally lost...No words could describe how much I love them and need them to breathe.
I'm about my kids....They mean the world to me, and I always know that no matter what we go through together (or even apart), we will always be connected in some way. They are each so special in their own way, and I love them from the very depths of my soul...
I'm about my faith...I believe it's the reason I'm still here after all these years...
I believe in God, and I know He's there. I've seen things that He has done to protect me when I didn't deserve protection, and I'm amazed every single day at the things He's done to not only provide for all of my family, but to heal our hearts and fix our lives in ways that could only be construed as "miracles." I've always been able to sense stuff like that, and I can assure anyone who asks, that something or someone wonderful is truly watching over me and my family...I tend to think that it's God. (Or maybe Guardian Angels, or even my Heavenly parents...) And I'm totally happy and at peace with that explanation.
Of course, that doesn't mean that "detaching" is hating someone...It just means you're turning your head and deciding not to let foulness infiltrate your realm of tranquility --- thereby protecting your own inner peace...
Oh, one more little thing about me...
I'm not a very politically-oriented person, but once in awhile, I am moved by someone who stirs hope in my heart. Hope for change --- hope for relief --- hope for living in today's world. It's not very often that I take a stand for anyone politically-inclined, but when someone gives a speech that reduces me to tears, they've touched my heart in a way that makes me believe that maybe there's hope for us middle-class people who are struggling to just "make ends meet." And maybe, just maybe, someone with power notices our struggles and cares enough to keep us in mind as they make changes in our world. My hope today is that Barack Obama is that someone. I haven't felt this politcally charged EVER, and I think it's because I see a little of me in him. Let's hope I'm right... And if I am, then let's hope that others see it too.
Now, get out there and VOTE!!!

Who I'd like to meet:
Paul McCartney, Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond, James Taylor, Carly Simon, Melissa Etheridge, Steven Tyler. Oh, and of course the one man in the entire universe who I could possibly marry besides Paul McCartney -- Nick Stellino....Anyone short of that simply wouldn't meet my current expectations.....;)
"Through my window I watch the leaves floating down with the gentle breeze of fall. Cool, crips day, and warm, fire-lit nights, I embrace Autumn as she gently slips beneath the Earth." MountainMeadowGoddess
I'm in a poetry mood I guess. The weather has put me in a mellow state of being.
Have a great rest of the weekend. Goddess Bless you and your loved ones with her love and light, ~ Judy ~
Don't worry, Jamie Lou... At least you didn't used to EAT your DIAPERS (or pin your boogers on the bedpost) like Brandi.... Eh? Sometimes, it pays to be the "oldest" child... heh heh... ;)
My friends make fun of me because I love to listen to James Taylor still, and Stevie NIcks.
Stevie NIcks was being played on a movie I was watching with a friend and I started singing it. My friend just looked at me like I was retarded and started to get excited about hearing it. I told him about the recording of you back in highschool, that I always liked listening to, with her songs and I told him that was main reason I liked music like that. It reminds me of you.
My music selection is extraordinary and may I say quite awesome, quite a broad selection, a lot of diversity, and it is all because of you and Daddy raising us with ALL kinds of music... from when we were wee bebes. :) I like to brag that while my dumb friends were watching Barney, I was listening to MIchael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Aerosmith, etc, etc. :)
Love you
Thank you for thinking about me every day Momma. THere are a lot of "idiots" here that I deal with on a daily basis, but I will deal. It'll be worth it in the end. :)
I absolutely loved that pic you left in my comment. Made me kinda wish my comments WERE visible, so I could show the world what a sexy b*tch I am, even as a bebe! :D
Ah ha ha Just kidding. I'm definitely not a sexy girl, cute girl is more like it! ;) lol jk jk
I'm kinda in a crazy mood today. I have a Physics lab due today, yes on a Sunday, and I have to work and it's not gonna get done by 4. :/
Oh well, I'll make it happen.
So yeah, in a weird mood.
Oh! I have to tell you something Mama! The day before yesterday, a lot of bad things happened and it was just a horrible ending to a day by the time I got off work. I was so moody, from the bad things, my bad luck, and ofcourse my "time of the month", and I was ranting about anything and everything I could think of that I disliked and EVERYONE was an idiot! lol What was the point of tellin you that? To tell you it reminded me of you, when you used to get agitated and call everyone an idiot in that way u do. ha ha ha I was like, oh no, I'm just like my mother more and more each passing "time of the month"! lol jk How have you been lately? HOw is the household? Work? I miss talking to you Momma, or at least knowing what's going on in Jeff. :)
Why, I love 2 wear underwear on my head, especially dirty underwear! I hope U have a lovely Sundo and R enjoying those darn donuts! Tell Ms. Hooker I hope she is feeling better. Luv ya...
