"Where is My Mind" (Pixies)
Spies is a 6-piece alternative rock band that formed in 2006. Although the band members have all known each other for years, they only recently started playing together after they discovered and bonded over each other’s secret love of the Beach Boys. Although their sound might not instantly bring to mind the sun-soaked harmonies of the Brian Wilson super group, their love for them exemplifies their dedication to using their influences in spirit and technique, not by ripping off their sound. If you want to be specific though, they’d be flattered if you said that they combined the harmonies of the Beach Boys, the intensity of the Clash, and had half the talent of either of those bands. Although they’ve only been together for less than one year, they’ve already recorded (and are almost finished mixing) an album’s worth of demos and started playing shows, including a 40 minute live performance on WRFW 88.7 University of Wisconsin, River Falls.
Simply put, we want to make frequencies that make notes that make chords that make songs that make albums that make both us and you happy. Here we go...

hey lil cuz, not much happening here. i actually have gotten sick of my job and all the added stress, so i have put in my notice. i need a break from all the craziness so i'm gonna take a break from working and look for a new job. other then that things are well.
Yeah, I absolutely ove the Police.... and you're pretty cool yourselves. HollyKopter is awesome... there are actually a few more names my friends have for me like HollyPop or Hollygram or Hollycaust....
