Hi there, first off I just want to make an apology as I want to make no references to myself on this page, the reason for my signing up with Myspace is for the soul purpose of getting my music to the ears of the open minded, so nothing regarding my personal life will be discussed as of yet. Anyway, I started this project a couple of years ago with intent to create a solo experimental industrial metal sound, however I grew tiresome of the sounds I was creating, so I began to wade into new waters, I really have no idea how to categorise my soundscapes, experimental perhaps, but in my mind all music is experimental. So categorise it as you see fit. I haven't uploaded much material yet as I didn't realise Myspace doesn't allow the uploading of large song files, as the majority of my material are quite large files, alot of the tracks lasting over an hour. But when I have tghe time I will try and make little 'snippet' previews of some of my larger, longer, better tracks.
From the few dozen people I have already shown these soundscapes to I have received varied opinions, some love the sound, some don't consider it music at all, and some can only listen for a little while (the tendency though is that those with similar habbits as myself tend to enjoy these tracks more than others, haha!).
Ispiration for these soundscapes come from the dreams/visions/illusions/whatever you'd care to call them, whether the 'dreams' come naturally, under the influence or from meditative experiences, these are my interpretations of what I see converted into sound (think of the sounds as colour, as a synesthete would). So far I have completed about 99 tracks, with many more in the works!
I do not care if you enjoy what I've made or whether you hate it, as long as it is heard.
Contact me regarding the spastik:HEROIN project @ kiereno12@hotmail.com, if you have any questions or would like some free tracks, as I am currently offering all my music to be heard free of charge. I don't wish for monetary gain from this project until I have perfected and dabbled into new sounds. My thanks for the time you took to read my words and hear my sounds.
hey kieren, since you (currently) support free music, would be willing to let me use some of your tracks on video games i make? i'd give credit where credit is due of course.
Hey Yeh, it's alright over here, heaps cold though. And, yeh I'm alright, I go to school next week BUT my aunt just said that it's like exam week that week so I probably will have a bludge week haha.
