Southcore is a band with roots from many genres and sounds of music. Its all about lettin it all hang out and havin a good time! It was formed from in 2005 after the breakup of Seasons of Pain . Formed by Guitarist/Singer Cotton Daniels and Drummer/Singer Derek Russell recorded first album "Assume Nothing" in 2006 played intensly for the next two years while adding former bandmate (ill persona) to russell Corey Davis on bass. Now it is complete. A live show is nothing short of a good time jam session!
We are a band that loves rock"n"roll and have to many influences to begin to list . We hope that when you leave a show that you remember waht you saw and had a great time. Think of a time when music was music and thats all it was. We have all had our share of bands and know together we make a brand of rock pure,raw,true to the sense of the word>>>>>

We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
