Soundealers began acting as partners in crime in 1998, but their story starts in

1996. In this year "Junior" (Vasco Lopes) and Rafa (Rafael Feliciano) with a

group of friends created an event agency called "worldwise". The goal of this

agency was to import the rave culture to portugal, this was their first step into the

world of electronic music. It was soon in their tours, and gigs that they realized

their common points in the understanding and vision of dance music, whilst one

watched another in their set's. Soon they began experimenting playing with each

other even that they had different mixing techniques, and set building. Having as

reference names like "Deep Dish", "Masters @ Work" and others, Rafa and

Junior decided that together they would build a creative team, and decided that the

format of those influences would let them put in practice their own styles and

techniques in one performance. So in 1998 Soundealers were born, developing

their sets with 4 turntables and 2 mixers it didn't take too long that good public

reactions began to sprout, and they realized that they had a golden opportunity to

create and develop a well defined project where their brand would stand by a

perfect chemistry, originality and solid performances. In 1999 they began

producing as well, using their knowledge and know-how in perfect harmony. They

toured all over portugal in the following years and played in some of the most

"hyped" and legendary portuguese clubs like Mitto, Muzik, News, and holding

residencies in the legendary Capitulo V , Alcântara-Mar , Al'Qzar, Capicua, Screen, O2 , Fabrica da Polvora, Je T'aime , Capitulo V wich they still hold.When asked to define their sound they both smile and answer "it's like trying to

define the taste of two different wines in just one word" meaning that their both

different influences and tastes have different ways to combine, just like in the

exquisite french cuisine. Their main style is house, but they use the most different

type of textures and spices like underground, deep, electro, funk, tech, disco, jazz

and a good measure of soul. Also their own productions are starting to create a

hype in the clubs they play. Soundealers have refined their style, building intense

sets wherever they go driving the crowd to complete ecstasy raising their arms and

humming to the beats .
