I grew up in a small town in northern California called Fairfield. I spent most of my time in church with my mother, father, sister and brothers. Music has been the life blood of my growing years. I started playing drums at 5 and continued that till about the age of 12. I noticed that the church was never at a lack for drummers, however the piano and organ seats were many times vacant. I wanted to try my hand on the keys and asked my father to teach me a song for our then youth choir. I started playing 1 song that I learned over and over again whenever they would sing it "He's Alright with me." I wore that song out in Ab. At any rate I had cousins and uncles who played, so whenever they or my father had time I asked them to show me more. Ultimately the Lord has been the best teacher for me. I've spent most of my life observing others and paying close attention to the attitude and spirit in which they played with and desired to express my gratitude and love for the Lord through my gift. Today this is still my motivation. Praise first performance never. What I seek is God's raw presence!
Where I Am Today:
Soul worshiper describes me to the bone. I say this because life has been a great teacher; and what it has taught me is to give myself completely in everything that I do. If there is going to be any time put into what my hands mind and heart try, i've got to give it my heart and soul. It remains useless and worthless if there is no soul tie connected to the activity. I love music and I love to play it. However, at this juncture & season in my life I've notice and realized the difference between performance and real worship ministry. Both may sound good and draw a response from people, but only one gets the attention of the Father. When I'm at my best in music, someone (possibly even myself) might have an emotional experience and feel a warm or chilled feeling come over them, and it might possibly cause them to ponder a decision and make a turn for the good. The soulful sound of the worshiper will however cause a supernatural occurrence from the hand of Jehovah to totally transform that person's life and bring complete peace and pure love. These are the results that speak for themselves. When the listener can leave the musical experience with a renewed, rejuvenated, relaxed, and revived life, then the longevity that men pay millions for will come.

Since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love has been brought to full expression through us… God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in US. Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son of God to be the Savior of the World…All who proclaims that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. We know how much God loves us and we have our trust in him….

MyHotComments It's those quiet times that I tell Him that I love Him and He reminds me that He Loves Me Too! Together there ain't nothing we can't do, and they can't take that away from me.
