legendary performance. I'm doing all I can to tell the world about our
"Red Queen Of Soul." -Al Santana 94.1 WSJT
"I've been a professional live sound engineer for
over 20 years. I was the sound engineer tonight for Lauren's live show. This
girl took the stains out of my shirt and the wrinkles out of my clothes!" - DJ Perry. Boston, Mass.
Lauren
Dragon has established a reputation of being one of the finest new female
vocalist/actresses to grace stages across the US.
Once
again breaking new ground in the Music Industry, Lauren has been asked by
WMNF-FM, one of the most powerful and popular radio stations in Florida, to
perform Jazz LIVE on the Radio on March 20th at 7:30PM for a two-hour concert
in their new multi-million dollar "Live Music Studio." 30 lucky listeners
will be part of the studio audience and Lauren's next CD will be performed and
recorded literally live on the radio with a studio audience and hundreds of
thousands of listeners. Handpicking Lauren from a stable of National Acts
throughout the U.S.,
Mary Glenney, host of the Radio Show, stated:
"It's
not just her perfect pitch and that unreal 5-octave range, what amazes me is
every time she has performed on the radio or in concert, she has this ability
to really reach the listener emotionally - it's all about how effectively
Lauren communicates as an artist. She's amazing really. So we've asked her to
kick off our Live Jazz Concert series."

Lauren
ran out of ink signing her sneak preview CD after the show December 7th at the Florida renowned blues
venue Skipper's Smokehouse! The house was packed and opening for Marcia Ball
was a dream come true for Lauren. The concert was very
well received - so much so that WMNF 88.5 asked Lauren to return to Skipper's
Smokehouse for a WMNF sponsored concert on Saturday, January 12th, where Lauren
opened for R&B great Ruthie Foster.
Lauren
also just recently performed at The Madison Theater in Covington, KY.
The show was such a smash hit, Lauren was offered to
come back again. Lauren will share the bill with several Major National Acts
this year.

In Her Own Words
Lauren is making a very unique mark on the music industry, with an ability to master
each genre she touches. This includes Big Band Jazz, Soul, R&B,
Hip Hop, Heavy Metal, Classic Rock, Opera and even Hindustani Pop.
"I’m being told that releasing so many styles at once can’t be done,"
explains Lauren, "that I’m expected to present myself as one thing, one
image, one style. The more I listen to my fans about
what they like I’ve noticed that most people don’t just like one style of
music. A true lover of music wouldn’t rob themselves of exploring such a large
and beautiful world that has so many facets. Besides, I’ve never been one to
conform or quietly resign myself to one box or another, so I’ve decided to give
my fans what they want; great music that is uplifting and communicates to them
with every facet that sparkles and shines within them. People are far too
complex and beautiful to limit themselves to one dimension. What a crime it
would be indeed! Besides, if there’s something they don’t like, I guarantee
I’ll find something that they will adore. I believe music can change lives. It
certainly did mine, and I want to give that gift to others."
