Erwin (if this is you here somewhere),

I wish I could sit down and have coffee with you... or come to Mosaic. God has used your words as a funnel of light and a kick in the pants for me. I still need to read 'soul cravings.' I want to read it on the plane as I fly off into the unknown... seems appropriate. ;)

Thanks for listening to His voice and speaking. It's inspiring. And He's totally using you.

Peace & blessings,
Kimberley

Hey Friend!

We hope all is well? Don’t be a stranger; we love to hear what’s going on with you, even if you just told us yesterday. Sorry for being so slow in responding to messages, we are doing our best to catch up. How would you finish this rhyme, “roses are red, violets are blue..................” Whoever has the best answer will get a free CD.

Much Love,

Thank you so much for adding me to your list of friends. I hope everyone who sees this comment will decide to help me in my effort to bring the teachings of JESUS the christ to those who ordinarilly might not get it. I explain the SACRIFICE and PURPOSE of JESUS in a way that people of other religions can understand, without so much christian "jargon" that only we understand. And, I believe all it takes is understanding to create unity. So, if you would please, help me get this message out.

Thank you,
Augustus H.Carter Jr.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE QUOTES...

[quoting Marianne Williamson] Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

Hello from Texas. Stopping by to tell you it's great to be able to get the podcasts sermons. Almost as good as being there in person. Really enjoyed being there last Sept. while visiting Debbie and family. Got to meet Erwin, which was a highlight of our trip. I have read an unSToPPABLE force, and The Barbarian Way. Really enjoyed them both. Good stuff. Hope to read Soul Cravings soon. Thanks for your ministry. God bless you. Phil. 1:3

This book was a great read for me...it put the perfect language to what humans go through deep down on a daily basis...What particularly stands out to me is when he tells the story of his son, Aaron, as a 2-year-old when he trusted that his father would catch him. That was powerful to me, because why don't we expect Jesus to catch us? Why aren't we risky that way with Him? Why don't we let God be all He is? After all, what better alternatives do we have? Soul Cravings was exciting because I want to share these types of conversations with my friends and I want people to read this and I want them to come to Mosaic because this stuff is relevant to everyone, and thus, not stressful to discuss...I guess there is not much to fear. There is not even really anything to argue about... these cravings are the great equalizer among human beings despite what they currently believe.

LOVE THIS BOOK!

I have read I think every other book written by Erwin and feel like he speaks my language and verbalizes many thoughts I've had.

Many of my friends are being inspired by the enthusiasm about his books and are also reading them now and being equally inspired! Thanks so much!

an amazing book... i fear i would have been searching the
rest of my life to answer these soul cravings, but McManus has
spelled out so simply and elegantly the exact things that make me tick.
and now i dont feel so alone any more....
my only complaint, well i guess it's a compliment, is
i want to read it again and again and again....

I am reading this book, and it is amazing. I normally cannot finish a page without wanting to turn on the TUBE. Erwin explains everything for the simple (myself), but hits hard on the truth of craving love and the need to give it as well. One of the greatest moments of your life will be when you discover this fact.

i gave it to my boss at work who is really not a christian. she is really excited about it. she told me she wanted to talk to the author and tell him her thoughts. haha. she said that she likes how it's not radically religious and she said that she can really relate. I find that the people I am giving it to really really are enjoying it.
