Cultivating their original sound as a collective since 2003, Sonicbloom creates music that appeals to the body, mind and spirit. Produced, recorded, and mixed independently at the Bloomplex, their dynamic style sets a refreshing new standard for underground hip-hop. After a year in the studio crafting their second full-length album released on CFO Recordings, Sonicbloom is set to drop Paradigm Lift, an album designed to awaken every colloid in your body into vortexual harmonic alignment.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area's thriving music community, Sonicbloom strives to create a fresh sound in a saturated hip-hop market. Four unique vocalists bring you a palate of intelligent topics complimented by soulful melodic harmonies throughout their songs. Lyrics are focused on conscious positive messages that will take you on a journey from the garden, to the club, to the world of politics, to outerspace and beyond. Backed by three producers and a variety of musicians, Sonicbloom’s innovative beat making combines synthesized and organic instrumentation creating a slaptaculous soundscape like no other.

The diverse background and influences of the group are reflected in a wide variety of production. With a strong foundation in Funk, Hip-Hop, Electronica, and RnB/Soul, Sonicbloom also sprinkles in elements of Gospel and Reggae. With members’ hometown roots spreading as far as Texas and Oregon, as well as Sacramento and Berkeley, they syncronistically came together to form Sonicbloom and begin work on their debut full-length album From the Get Go, which was released on CFO Recordings in 2005. Since then Sonicbloom has established a grassroots network of listener support throughout the world.

Over the past few years Sonicbloom has had the opportunity to perform up and down the west coast at venues for thousands of people. With shows in San Francisco, to Sonoma County, to Lake Tahoe, to Eugene,OR, to Sacramento/Davis, and Humboldt County; they’ve performed at colleges, bars/restaurants, clubs, outdoor festivals and private residences where they’ve consistently had the dancefloor moving to their uplifting music. Their live set has morphed and evolved over the years from a DJ/MC set with live instrumentation, to a full 9-member ensemble backed by drums, bass, keys, guitar, and horns, to a live PA type set featuring on-stage production. Depending on the venue, Sonicbloom will manifest into any one of these forms.
