Solomon's Request is a hard rock band with tremendous energy bolting forth from their live act which commonly is lost with most of today's bands. You can feel the power and tenacity being unleashed upon you in the form of raging vocals, razor-sharp guitar riffs, and rock melodies that refuse to be jarred from the playbacks of your mind. You will come to realize that Solomon's Request is a rock band to be reckoned with, and that they are your band.
Initially formed in 2001, lead vocalist / guitarist Bill and vocalist / bassist Ryno resumed ties from their earlier years of playing in local Detroit bands. In early 2004, B.K. joined the group bringing along with him a vast array of new guitar sounds and technique. The most recent addition to the band is Shane, a multiple awarded percussionist that will surely please any audience. As one of the local newspapers states it, “The music’s loud but the lyrics have changed…The music has turned from mayhem-minded to mission-minded, and now has a purpose.”
Assisting them with part of the new album’s production was Heaven’s Wish front man Ron Vanderlip, who used his vast expertise sculpting parts of He Never Goes Away and Hardest Part Is Over, along with providing musical mentoring for the band.
Solomon's Request has played a multitude of venues this year including Blitzfest, nationally syndicated radio show "The Mitch Albom Show", Joe's Java, The Irock Night Club, Saint Andrews Hall, and The Hard RockCafe, to name a few.
Solomon's Request always gives 100% for their shows and fans by shining a light into a darkend world.
