| About Ciaran |
|
Over the past two years, Ciaran Carmichael has been developing his unique musical style to present to the public. After recording his debut CD "Parting Words" at the Camp studio in Hershey he managed to put it out to the world. With a total of 14 songs, Parting Words contains Ciaran's first attempt at making a record. The raw and simple feel to it, gives it a unique listening experience that anyone can love. The lyrics proclaim stories of love, lost and won, among other situations. Ciaran also is in the process of working on a collaborated project with Andy Roberts and Rick Sudor to create arranged versions of Ciaran's songs, to put on a demo, that will be marketed to record labels and radio stations, as well as anyone else who wishes to hear it.
In addition to his solo career, Ciaran also is a part of an up and coming alternative rock band called Letters For Lovers. He plays the role of the lead singer and keyboardist of the band. The band has performed in a variety of venues in PA, including Championship, in Harrisburg, Philafunk and The Silo, in Reading. They have performed alongside of acts such as Safari So Good, Starting Over, Jealousy Curve, and Falling Over Failure, and continue to perform around the area. In the future they will be trying to do extensive touring, as well as releasing, firstly, their demo CD, followed by a complete, full length CD for mass production and distribution.
In a nutshell, it's all about making quality music, and getting it to people to hear, so please look at the site, check out the music, and support PA's music scene by supporting Ciaran Carmichael.
