Sleight of Hand met at Leeds College of Music in 2005. Boasting a large and expanding repertoire of original material, Sleight of Hand is making its mark on the contemporary jazz scene.
Look forward to seeing you guys again at the Grimsby jazz club in April! I played bass in the support trio last year, and I have my LCM audition/interview tomorrow - just a bit nervous! - John.

A word of many meanings...

3. to hang out - "When are you and I going to chill?"
4. to be easy going - "I am really diggin' that girl from the coffee shop, she as laid back and chill."
5. a little bit cold - "Might want to bring a sweater, there's a chill in the air tonight."
6. its ok - "No need to apologize, it's chill."

1. An adjective describing a rhythmic quality of music that is emotionally communicative and soulful; used for music moving at a steady beat. "I am feelin' this groove!"
2. A verb meaning to smoothly interact, maintain or improve relations with a person, or a situation.
*Not to be confused with "Groovy" which was a previous word of the week - two totally different words.
