From an early age S J Denney played the fool, the clarinet and sung in the Essex County Choir.
All that changed on his 12th birthday, when his parents bought him a copy of Oasis's '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?'. From that moment, The Only Way Was Rock!

Since then S J's voice has broken and he's learnt to play the guitar. After several years of playing in numerous bands, he's now gone solo, bringing you the artist you hear today.

S J's style is alternative rock, often compared to Oasis, the Lighthouse Family, Pink Floyd, R.E.M. and Phil Collins.

His talents have seen him support The Bluetones, the Inspiral Carpets and Modjo. In 2011, he played at Brownstock Festival alongside Athlete, Example, Pendulum and Ms. Dynamite. He's also had the pleasure of jamming with Paul McCartney and beating Daniel Bedingfield at pool.

Right now, S J is playing a number of gigs to promote his new EP, 'The Space Between Us'.
