FROM HOT PRESS:
Siobhán O'Brien has been round this way before and now she's back with a searing anti-war song "Beautiful Bodies". It has a neat pop-rock beat that's in stark contrast to the graphic anti-war lyrics. It sure makes a change from all those songwriters struggling to find their inner adult. "Indians" looks at the plight of the Native American in a track embellished by gutsy guitar. "My Man" is more laid back and is a charming country-folk tune, with O'Brien's voice at its most seductive. With three gems this good, I broke the habit of a lifetime and listened to track four, 'Naked'. I wasn't disappointed.

Hey there Siobhan. Cheers for getting in touch with us. Love your Mumbo Jumbo song. Might see you at some stage on some stage..perhaps in Dingle! Best of luck with gach rud.
Cool, Tom would rock that tune of yours, big time. Thanks for asking, the big day is set for this coming November 2. We actually decided on the date in late August, I've been flying by the seat of my pants ever since, movin' & groovin' on this thing, making decisions. I'm having a ball planning everything though really, and Tom has been so great & involved. No bridezilla in the house here, babe! OK, I've had a moment or two, silly things, Tom would tell you, but it's just the Interior Designer in me that does this to 'me-self', really, ha ha.
Enough of us and the wedding, please- tell me how you are, how goes it with you my favorite songbird...
Glad to connect up with other talented indie musicians. From Dallas home of the art and media revolution including Post-Bands music . New century, new everything.
I've enjoyed your playing on Sara's latest cd, sorry I missed you when you were in San Diego. Hopefully I'll be able to catch ya playing in Limerick sooner than later!
why hello there Siobhan O'Brien! i was searching to see what information i can find on myself (personal stuff - home phone, adddress) and ran across you. I listened to some of your tracks and found you to be a lovely musician and surprising - a very similar sound/style to myself, but far more graceful and beautiful. I thoroughly enjoy your music! It is wonderful!
I was born in South Africa to an American mother and Irish father from County Leitrim and have some family in Newtown Gore.
Hello My Friend, and our respect for your work !!!
Welcome to our list and thank you for becoming our friend!
The helpless must be protected, and those with no voice of their own must be spoken up for. Those who prey on our children rely on silence, and it must not be allowed to continue! So thank you for adding your voice to ours, together we will grow louder...AND WE WILL BREAK THE SILENCE!!!
Hi Siobhan, thanks for being friends in the endless widths of myspace. The music at your site sounds good, hope to meet somewhere down the road at a gig. Greetings from Germany, Detlef
