Shine Down On Sweet Revenge started out as four friends who just wanted to play. Formed in November of 2005, Mike DeGroot, Marty Seal, Matt Roberts, and Ben Andress had high hopes that were soon changed when Ben left the band. His replacement Derek Click became our singer. But to give more issues Matt Roberts quit in hopes of starting his own band. So down a drummer Marty and Mike saught out Mitch Kuhlman who became the new drummer and continues drumming for the band. Now under a new name, we added a new member named Patrick Lucha. He plays guitar and sings a little. A perfect fit.
Formerly Simply Basic, Shinedown On Sweet Revenge still has the same hopes to simply play. And we all hope to have a demo out sometime within the year.

We have a battle of the bands that we are playing in Saturday @ Skunks Nest, and the final round is on August 11th.. so if we don't make it to the final round we'd be more than happy to play the show.. so if you could possibly spare us a week to find out whether or not we advanced we'd really appreciate it!

hey! this is the guys over at Tecumseh Alternative Press. we've been down and out for a good while because of a few mixed issues and lack of news and the sort of boring past group of months. but! we're back and in near full force, and we're working towards being bigger and better than we were before. We're making a website, new myspace layout, bios, music, bands, etc. and we're expanding our music promotion to outside of tecumseh, and surrounding areas so that we can make a conncection which may mean a name change. But, we are mainly here to help you all (tecumseh bands) and for that we need some support. All we ask is that you help us in gaining more friends so that we can get your bands to new people. SO! tell all of your friends to add us, and we'll add a ton, and if you have anything that needs promoting, just ask and we'll help. We'll be in close contact, and have a good spring break/week/life/whatever.

i told colorblind thry couldn't play cause of curfew issues and lack of time. So when you make up the posters it should say SDOSR CRIT COMP AND BEST KEPT SECRET not colorblind.

hey did ya'll ask kyle if we could play at that benefit thing? we'll open, play a short 5-6 song set really quickly and then even tape the whole thing, all of the bands and the drumline and shit.
