Sheree Plett is a fresh young artist whose songs and performances have been captivating audiences for the past few years, both in the large and busy music scene of Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well as the incredibly active scene in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her natural beautiful voice wraps itself around the deeply personal, poetic lyrics, creating a very organic sound that gives expression to a wide range of human emotion.
Sheree released her first album titled "Hold Still" in May of 2003.
Sheree's latest album "Red Circled Heart", is a significant evolution from her debut. The new album was recorded at Buena Vista Audio in Langley, BC by Jonathan Anderson (Jonathan Inc, Maplewood Lane, Stabilo) and delves deeper into sonics and arrangements than it's predecessor. Likely to surprise some fans, the album hits higher highs with the intense "Soldier" and the spare and somber "Pressed Flowers". This time out Sheree recorded with her band that have been playing together for the past year rather than bringing in studio players and the result is a more collaborative and distinct effort. "Red Circled Heart" is an assured and wide eyed album which draws you in and is bound to change lives and appeal to a broad audience.
