   About Sharon Lewis
Hi there, I used to be one half of a duo called Pooka, we released 4 albums and various ep's. Our style was eclectic and experimental. We also collaborated with electronic artists Orbital, ultramarine and Brian Duffy. Our first album was released world wide, although other releases were mainly UK and France. I am now a solo artist and have just released my debut album The Hour Lilies. Accompanied by piano and guitar I write and record my own stuff. The songs are delicate things. I live by the sea and teach music to kids. Brighton is a great place to live, I am surrounded by many talented and original musicians/writers such as Paul Chi, Barnaby o rorke, Luke Adams, Martha Tilston, The Mountain Firework Company, Charleyville etc.. All these people inspire me. I recently toured the States and the UK with Boston songstress Rose Polenzani who has become a great friend. We would back each other up at our shows with harmonies and keyboards. Mp3's of our collaboration and other tracks have been uploaded above. If you like what you hear you can purchase my album plus Pooka rarities from my website www.sharonlewis.net or click the link below to purchase my solo album The Hour Lilies. Thanks for taking time and listening.

Hey Sharon!

Any plans to record/release King and Queens, or that song with the line "joy is the only song"?

Love those...

Hope you're well!

Hey! I thought of you on the 17th, whilst crossing the virginia/kentucky stateline, listening to 'bluegrass' on the radio. I realised then where the term came from when I passed fields filled with thse tiny blue flowers! glad you had a great time in NY - talk soon. Simon X

Pressure's on... lol
I'll try... I've just got myself some recording stuff to record myself at home but I think I'm too intimidated to be shit, I've still not produced anything.
29th of september sounds like a reasonnable timescale though... (Toxic Loic is cool, no? I think it's a hit!!)
