SFTP is also the originator of the MICROCASSETTOR compilation series, in which all audio is taken from microcassette tapes, which has changed the language in certain sectors. SFTP loves Un-Pop, Difficult, Not-Cute, Go-Go Space Core, Nigerian Scam-Rock and many other unheard of genres of music. Run entirely by one man, who is not a trustafarian (trust fund kid), all because he knows he must. He is also the curator of FREEDUMB FEST yearly celebration of idiocy, with such great guys as SUNBURNED HAND OF THE MAN and MICK FLOWER performing and having a good memorable time. SFTP is so busy releasing units of product that it doesnt have time to bother with promotions, reviews, magazines, or otherwise lame ass hype. except the occasional press release. that means word of mouth ya'll. artists include DRUMS LIKE MACHINE GUNS, REYNOLS, COURTIS, TORE BØE, NO-FI, 36, TEMPLE OF BON MATIN, NAME DROPPING ADDICTS, MUGU GUYMEN, UN-HYPE THE HYPE MACHINE, BIG CITY ORCHESTRA, MAGIK MARKERS, YELLOW CRYSTAL STAR, SOCIAL JUNK and allah knows more.
